Tokens On Me

Connect a Mistral API key

Allowances on Mistral’s models can spend from your Mistral organization. Tokens On Me takes an API key of one of your workspaces and calls Mistral’s chat completions with it, at its standard prices.

Before you start

Mistral’s terms let a minor use its services only with a parent’s or guardian’s consent, which this service cannot check. Give allowances on Mistral only to people of 18 or older: you confirm it when you connect the key, and each person confirms their age when they accept an allowance or claim one.

Your allowances are used with oh-my-pi. Mistral’s terms do not let its own coding tool, Vibe, be offered through a service like this one, so no allowance gives lines for it.

Mistral Large 4 is charged here at its regular price. While Mistral runs a sale on it, your Mistral bill is lower than what your allowances show as spent, never higher.

Set up billing and disable training

In free mode, Mistral may train its models on what is sent. On a paid plan it does so only where its improvement setting is on: turn it off.

  1. In the Admin Panel, open Subscription and set up paid usage: pay-as-you-go draws from prepaid credits. API keys work only once a payment method is on file.
  2. In the Admin Panel’s Privacy settings, turn off Anonymous improvement data.

Create a workspace and its key

Each key uses its workspace’s budget and rate limits. Create a dedicated workspace to keep allowance usage separate.

  1. In the Admin Panel, open Workspaces and create one for your allowances.
  2. In Studio, open API keys, choose that workspace, and create a key with an expiry date and the connector scope Shared connectors only. Copy it: it is shown once.

Set a monthly limit

A workspace has no monthly cap until you set one. Once it is reached, Mistral refuses the workspace’s requests until the next month or until you raise it. Tokens On Me also sets money aside on each allowance before every request.

  1. In Workspaces, select the workspace and open its Settings tab.
  2. Enter a Monthly spending limit, and save.

Connect it

  1. Sign in, open Keys, paste the key under Mistral, confirm that your allowances on it go only to people of 18 or older, and save.
  2. Create an allowance in Allowances and choose this provider key.

Stop access

In the Admin Panel’s API keys, delete the key: Mistral refuses every request made with it from then on. Disconnecting it on the Keys screen stops new requests through this service immediately.
